WWII Remembrance Celebration Dec 7th, 2014

On December 7th American Heroes hosted a WWII event at the HCC Trinkle Center in Plant City, Florida to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of D-Day (June 6th, 1944) Operation Market Garden (Sept 17th, 1944) the Battle of the Bulge (Dec 16th, 1944) and the Invasion of Iwo Jima (Feb 19th, 1945).  Five WWII Veterans participated in the event by greeting the visitors and signing autographs.  They had a blast meeting the younger generations and having a chance to tell their stories.  We need to do more to remember this Generation of Americans who sacrificed so much to ensure victory.  CHECK OUT THE PICTURES ON THE RECENT EVENTS TAB.  Also, if you haven't already figured it out, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on Sunday Dec 7th, 1941 so this date and day of the week (Sunday Dec 7th, 2014) take us back exactly 73 years to that day of that attack.

These are the things which we should be having in mind to celebrate and also about the effort that our elders had made. Thus we are able to celebrate these types of days with more affection and devolution.
